I’ve been thinking of all the things I’ve seen, in all the years that have flown by. They are random flashing memories that live deep within my mind.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock, I’ve gotta stop chasing time.
I try to sort and catalog all the memories to where they’re supposed to go but recently my failure rate has multiplied and my smile, at times, well it’s just for show.
Tick tock, tick tock, I’ve gotta stop chasing time.
I’ve gotta stop, I’ve gotta stop chasing time
I cannot unsee what I’ve seen or change what’s already in the past. I will try to see tomorrow with fresh eyes and live my life like my fate has not already been cast.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock
I’ve gotta stop chasing time. I’ve gotta
stop, I’ve gotta stop chasing time.
I have more stories left to tell, as the sun just set on another day. The trouble is we think there’s time, not just today, to share the words we’ve always wanted to say
Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock
I’ve gotta stop chasing time. We’ve gotta stop, we’ve gotta stop chasing time. There’s not enough. There’s never enough.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock
